Katherine Baxter, Ph.D.
Dr Katherine Baxter brings over a decade of experience in non-profit leadership and academia, having worked as a CEO in the animal protection movement, a senior government policy researcher, and a lecturer on a range of graduate level qualitative and qualitative methods courses at academic institutions in both Europe and North America. She is especially interested in the convergence of theory and practice when it comes to effectualizing culturally-nuanced solutions to the social problem that is animal exploitation, and she has sought to bring this lens to all of her work on behalf of other animals - whether in Africa, North America, the Middle East, or South East Asia. Katherine holds a scholarship funded Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver where she teaches courses on human-animal relationships in a global context.
